Featured Artists…
 Guitarist Bob
Sneider is a two-time winner of the DownBeat Outstanding
Performance in Jazz award who has performed
with Chuck Mangione, Nat Adderley, Houston
Person, Etta Jones, Lou Donaldson, Freddie
Cole, and Jon Faddis.
Pianist Paul
Hofmann has toured and/or recorded
with Kevin Mahogany, Karrin Allyson, Ron
Carter, Steve Gadd, Richie Cole, Fred Wesley,
and Steve Turre.
In the tradition of the classic Jim Hall/Bill
Evans recordings of the 1960s, Intermodulation (Verve)
and Undercurrent (United Artists),
Sneider & Hofmann have just released Interconnection on
Sons of Sound. Like their inspirations Nat
Cole & Oscar Moore, Oscar Petersen & Joe
Pass, Gary Burton & Chick Corea, “…their
empathy extends beyond technique and harmonic
intelligence…” — Bob
Blumenthal
Interconnection is
Bob's second album on Sons of Sound. About
the previous recording, entitled Out
Of The Darkness, David Adler for All
Music Guide wrote: “Bob Sneider
has developed one of the most refreshingly
original jazz guitar styles you’re
likely to hear… tremendous
technical facility… impeccable
lyricism.”

Reviews…
Writer
Bill Milkowski named Gene Bertoncini's Acoustic
Romance first among the
Top 20 Acoustic Guitar Albums to Have in
the March issue of JAZZIZ magazine.
Gene is profiled and interviewed in the article
that begins on page 46.
Akira Tana scored another four-star
review for Moon Over The World,
this time from George Fendel in Jazz
Scene in Portland, OR: "There
is a real palette of feeling to this album
and certainly much credit must go to the
subtle playing of the leader… The
more you listen, the more appealing it
all becomes."
